Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again.

Nice city hotel

Nice old hotel building – in walking distance from the Market Place. The breakfast was OK – so and so – but the logistic was not OK! Shortage of this and then shortage of that. The breakfast room seems a little too small for the number of guest there were at the hotel. We had a nice big room – but the quality of the furniture was not at the level for a hotel room.

The concierge seemed very annoyed to help us, especially when we didn't know German. He kept throwing up his hand and said no English and I don't know. I tried to use a translator app but he didn't want to use it..instead he asked the guests behind us to translate. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. It was a shocking experience for us. We have never experience such an inappropriate interaction before. It left a bad impression for us. This is not the best hotel to visit if you don't speak German or want friendlier service.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Obwohl das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt, war es in den Zimmern sehr ruhig. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut.

Vælg ikke dette hotel hvis du ønsker en spa oplevelse. Der er en kabine sauna, nogle liggestole og en bruser i kælderen. Da vi spurgte til behandlinger blev vi henvist til saunaen. Pænt rent værelse, med mulighed for gratis rengøring i løbet af opholdet.

Blandet oplevelse

Selv om der var indtjekningsautomat, som sagde, nøgle var klar til afhentning, insisterede det daværende personal, at det var absolut forbudt! Adgangsforhold till hotel rædsomme grundet vejarbejde. Man skulle køre på fortorv, fik jeg så at vide, af arbejdsmand. Hvorfor melder de ikke det ud til deres kommende gæster!? Hotel havde ikke stemplet kurhæfte, så der var bøvl med at bruge det i busserne! God morgenmad inkluderet. Røræg, pølser, brød, müsli osv.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schade, dass man fast dazu gezwungen wird, dass ein – und auschecken, sowie das bezahlen nur noch via App zu machen. Aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht und dem Fachkräftemangel noch einigermassen nachvollziehbar, aber als Gast sehr unpersönlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer haben eine gute grösse und sind zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Mobiliar hingegen, könnte mal etwas modernisiert werden. Die Zimmer in der dritten Etage sind direkt unter dem Dach. Es waren ende Juni nicht allzu warme Tage und trotzdem schon sehr heiss im Zimmer und da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, konnte der schlottrige Ventilator auch nichts dagegen ausrichten. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass es im Hochsommer ziemlich Saunamässig wird. In der Nacht war es sehr ruhig, mag vielleicht auch daran gelegen haben, das die Hauptstrasse vor dem Hotel wegen einer Baustellen gesperrt war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung und hatte für jeden etwas dabei.

Für eine Suite erwarte ich deutlich mehr z.b eine Minibar. Einfach einen Wasserkocher und ein paar Kaffee Sticks hinlegen ist etwas dürftig. Das Frühstück ist unterirdisch, keine Auswahl und angetrocknetes Rührei.

Die Lage (direkt neben dem Bahnhof und in fußläufiger Nähe zur Innenstadt) war für mich super - allerdings hört man den Bahnbetrieb, denn das Zimmer war etwas hellhörig. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer könnte mal eine Überarbeitung gebrauchen, denn Möbel und Tapeten zeigten deutliche Macken. Dafür war es hell und geräumig. Alles in allem habe ich mich dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
