“Access to the Oregon Garden. We were not happy that the gate between the resort and the garden was malfunctioning. The room was comfortable except that the air conditioner was too loud, so we did not get a good night sleep. At lunch, the staff was in a meeting and they were late and did not open the door until we notified the front desk.”

“Our room was clean, pretty small but comfortable. Only one chair and only one bedside table. AC was noisy. Location is perfect, downtown is sweet and very walkable. Staff was super friendly. Our second stay here, first time in a small room.”

“I understand being short staffed perhaps but there needs to be a signal light or some thing to notify staff that there are people at the front desk. She was busy in the laundry room. She was pleasant and suggested a delicious place to eat right next door!! A little older motel than one we stayed at in Corvalis OR. but okay for 1 night.”

“As you know, this is NOT a Marriott. It is very inexpensive and my 4 of 5 star review reflects that. My room was clean, as were the towels, sheets and other bedding. All of the plumbing worked well. The check-in guy was friendly and helpful. He let me see my room before I accepted it. The check-in sheet showed a price of $10 less than the price I paid on Expedia. The desk guy said that's because the hotel paid a commission. The I5 freeway adjoins the hotel and it is thus noisy, though...

“Checkin was as expected. Room was very clean, but in poorly maintained condition. The TV and stations offered were fine. The window would not latch/lock. There were extra security bolts in place, but didn't look installed properly to prevent any serious break-in attempt. There was barbed wire around the parking lot fence and the stairs to the second level were not in a public visible area. It didn't really feel safe.
