"This hotel is centrally located and lovely. Just about everything you could want is here with one exception. The hotels.com listing is a bit deceptive when it says they have laundry facilities. They offer laundry but you have to send it off and, as expected from thst kind of offering, it is EXPENSIVE. Other than tbat though, the staff were wonderful and always willing to help whenever possible. The room was clean and even had heated bathroom floors. Even the price, compared to other top hotels, was quite affordable. Overall this was a fantastic stay!"

"Well located hotel, lovely checkin experience with Simon. Hotel restaurant was great, gym and sauna a good size and modern equipment. Bed was comfortable, bathroom a good size and the hotel was quiet despite being on top of the railway station. Definitely would recommend staying here."

"The Hotel is great. Everything you would expect at this level. Nothing dissapointed. However the staff, and the service they provided, was superior to even the most high-end Hotels I have stayed in. You could not ask for more friendly and helpful service, even when I rolled in after midnight, with a whole host of issues. Spencer and Sharon set a new bar that I don't think will ever be met, and I will not forget how much they helped in a truly genuine and caring way. Thank You!!! The room and the breakfast buffet were also top notch!!"

"If you need a wonderful room, great dining options, amazing breakfast and good service... the Grand Curiosa ticks all the boxes. The BONUS is the interesting spaces, fun features (including 2 story corkscrew slide) and interesting decor. We don't have kids, but loved watching young people wonder at the place. Even my wife and I (in our 60's) did the slide. The Grand Curiosa makes you feel like a kid again. On top of that, we got free entry (after 6pm) to the park to see what was thrilling everyone to scream and laugh. Back in our room, all was quiet and comfortable. A fun place - a MUST see destination."
Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel, Gothenburg

"For the second time in two years, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a week in August 2026. The Radisson was an ideal location for all of us. Although it’s separated from central Gothenburg by the Göta älv River, a short, free ferry ride from a nearby ferry dock will take you to Stenpiren where you can walk, take trams, or buses to any point in the city itself. There are also bus and tram stops close to the Radisson that provide alternative access the main part of the city. The staff at the hotel were professional and welcoming (we particularly appreciated the help Alma provided at the front desk). The rooms are clean and very quiet, the beds are very comfortable, the showers provide hot water with excellent pressure, and the curtains completely blocked out the light of the summer sun. Our experience last year taught us that the hotel breakfast offerings are amazing, even for members of my family who are vegetarian and gluten-free. Saunas, hot tub, workout room, a rooftop lounge that offers wonderful views of the city, and little touches throughout the hotel that still appeal to science geeks (the lights in the main restaurant form a Newton’s Cradle). This year, we visited the hotel bar where Joshua prepared amazing drinks, including an amazing drink that he invented to satisfy my wife’s tastes. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed."
