"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. "We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. "This is a simple country Hôtel in a small village. There is not much traffic here and the door was actually locked when we arrived. Some knocking brought the friendly proprietor who carried my bag to the second floor and even called ahead to a local restaurant to be sure we had a table before they closed. Breakfast was simple but good, with an offer of cooked to order eggs."
