The museum is more about the effects on the railroad on Altoona than about trains. I came looking for locomotives, passenger cars, box cars, tankers, etc but saw very little in the way of actual trains. The history of how the railroad played a major part in the development of Altoona was excellent, just not what I was expecting.
Wanted to go last year, but ran out of time. Definitely on the list this year.
