"The hotel was located in a very convenient location, with plenty of amenities nearby, most importantly: a stone's throw from the Steele railway station. The premises were spotless, quiet, the rooms vast, cosy and all areas of the building felt well-maintained, and comfortable."

"My wife and I stayed in Haus am Stadttor for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved the place. It is perfectly located and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the quiet, though the house is located a very short walk to the altstadt. Mathias was also very friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and flexible. He let us check in early and allowed us a late check-out. All-in-all, a great stay!"

The only problem we had is nobody answered the phone when I tried to call ahead of time to ask about parking and check in. I tried several times in the days leading up to our stay.
