  • Hello from Paradise! We have started our little Island Hopping Adventure in the South of Thailand. First stop: Koh Phayam. A quiet Island which still has a true 'in the middle of nowhere' feel to it. I can count the people around me in two hands. Never been to such an empty beach before. It's lovely! Also very pleased with our accommodation: open-air shower and a huge hammock big enough for two on our veranda. Just swam in the ocean for nearly an hour - the water temperature is divine!! Sunset Beach

Waren zum 3. Mal da, kommen gerne wieder. Nettes, aufmerksames Personal. Schönes Restaurant am Strand. In der Villa kein Kühlschrank, kein A/C, Reinigung nur jeden 4. Tag und auf Anforderung. Mittlerweile viele Kleinkinder.

Kiva majoitus perusbungalowissa

Olimme varanneet kolmeksi yöksi majoituksen perustasoisesta thai-bungalowista Bamboosta. Hyvä sänky ja ulkokylppäri kuten Thaimaassa on usein tapana. Hyttysiä sattui majoituksemme aikaan suht paljon, joten bungalowin varustuksessa ollutta moskiittoverkkoa kannattaa ehdottomasti käyttää. Bamboo sijaitsee isolla rannalla, saaren lauttasataman vastakkaisella puolella. Mopotaksilla pääsee perille nopeasti ja edullisesti pientä tietä pitkin. Kävelemään ei kannata lähteä, matka on aika pitkä. Bamboon ruoka oli perushyvää ja edullista, mutta erityisesti iltaisin tarjolla ollut tuoreiden merenelävien bbq-pöytä oli maittava. Ravintola ja terassit on kivasti suoraan rannan yhteydessä ja paikka houkutteleekin ruokailijoita rannalta pitkin päivää. Bamboo vaikutti olevan turistiseurueiden suuressa suosiossa, mutta rauhaa ja omaa tilaa löytyy kivasti. Ranta on hieno, sandflyt ja pienet polttiaiset hiukan kiusasivat. Mitään ihmeellisempää yöelämää Phayamilla ei ole, mutta muutama baari rannan eri päistä kuitenkin löytyy.
