Sehr ruhig und entspannt
Wir waren fast die einzigen Gäste wegen covid19. Alles sehr großzügig. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nach fast zwei Jahren Pause hat noch nicht alles geklappt. Aber immer bemüht.

Mitelmässig schön
Es war der zweite Aufenthalt für mich auf Koh Phayam, deshalb habe ich etwas besseres als die Bambushütten gewählt, in denen ich das letzte Mal übernachtet habe.
Und es war auch etwas besser, aber nicht sehr viel. Wer Luxus erwartet ist in den Superior Bungalows nicht richtig, es sind einfache Häuschen, aus Stein gemauert Und mit einem Betonboden auf Betonstützen, es gibt Fliegengitter an den Fenstern und an der Tür, einen Ventilator und Satelitenempfang an einem alten Röhrenfernseher, leider kein deutsches TV, aber deshalb sind wir ja auch nicht auf der Insel.
Ein Nachteil der Superiorbungalows, sie sind alle in der Nähe des Generators der 24Std am Tag brummt ( es ist ein alter 6 Zylinder LKW Motor ) und es gibt kein warmes Wasser....
Ich habe das Wasser nicht vermisst, meine Freundin mit ihren langem Haaren fand es nicht so prickelnd. Wegen des Motorengeräusches in der Nacht haben wir mit Ohropax geschlafen, da ging es dann auch.
Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn diese beiden Punkte vorher bei der Buchung erwähnt worden wären, dann hätten wir eventuell einen anderen Bungalow gewählt.
Alles in allem war die ganze Anlage aber relativ gepflegt und sauber.
Da die Anlage direkt am Meer liegt, kann man vom Restaurant aufs Meer schauen, das ist sehr schön.

Schöne Anlage direkt am Strand
Das Hotel liegt an einem wohl abgelegen Strand und ist optimal zum entspannen.Man sollte nicht allzu grosse Ansprüche haben.Es reicht ja dass man in 2 Minuten im Meer ist.Nach 18h ist es Stockdunkel.Ohne Mofa wird man nicht sehr viel vom rest der Insel mitbekommen,aber es ist genug schön am Strand zu relaxen.Es gibt kein Pool.Und die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist zu Fuss auch etwa 15 Minuten entfernt

Hotel direkt am Strand
Es gibt wohl kaum ein Hotel, das schwieriger zu bewerten ist. Die Bungalows sind gross,sauber und schattig, das Essen ist gut, der Strand ist schön, bei Ebbe muss man wie an der Nordsee weit bis zum Wasser laufen, aber für die Tide kann das Hotel nichts. Das Personal ist freundlich, anfänglich ein bisschen mürrisch, hilft einem aber immer weiter. Eigentlich eine gute Unterkunft, wenn sie nicht so komplett anders wäre, als der Rest der Insel. Alle anderen Resorts sind aus Treibholz zusammengeschustert oder sehen zumindest so aus, bieten aber teilweise ebenfalls gute Qualität. Der Buffalo Bay Vacation Club ist aus Stein und scheiterte für uns an Atmospäre und Charme, an Kriterien, die nicht wirklich messbar sind, allerdings sicherlich seine Freunde findet.

Lugn i vacker bukt.
Mycket lugn. Ebb dagtid gjorde badvattnet mycket långgrunt från 11-tiden fram till omkring 16.00.
