Gutes Frühstück sauberes Zimmer sind im Hotel kulant upgegradet worden. Von einem großen Zimmer mit Meerblick welches fälschlicherweise als Suite bezeichnet wird mit 36qm auf eine wirkliche Suite mit 100qm . Leider ist das Meer dort sehr Flach und bei Ebbe nicht vorhanden, der Strand könnte besser gepflegt werden. Es ist wie ein Clubhotel mit vielen Unternehmungen meist sportlicher Art ,aber Trommeln und Eisbaden oder auch Ausflüge zum Sunday Markt und viele weitere gehören dazu. Überwiegend International junges Publikum, etwas abseits von Phuket gelegen.

I loved this property. I said in a garden cabana. AC is great. Definitely need mosquito spray. Only thing I would advise is to use local laundry service from surrounding area as hotel prices are sky high.

Im Grunde betrifft die Kritik nahezu alle Bereiche. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Die Toilette wurde während eines Aufenthalts von zwei Wochen kein einziges Mal gereinigt. Es wurde ausschließlich gekehrt, jedoch nie gewischt. Auch das Bett wurde nicht – wie üblich zumindest nach einer Woche – neu bezogen. Der Taxi-Service ist unzuverlässig und unprofessionell. Besonders unverständlich ist die Regelung, dass eine Liege bereits nach 30 Minuten von einem anderen Gast übernommen werden darf. Gäste möchten sich zwischendurch auch etwas zu essen holen oder kurz weggehen. Eine Mindestdauer von 60 Minuten wäre angemessen, da ansonsten ständig fremde Personen in unmittelbare Nähe der Wertsachen anderer Gäste gelangen. Zusätzlich laufen auf dem Gelände Wasserwarane mit einer Länge von bis zu zwei Metern frei umher. Seitens des Personals wird dies als „normal“ dargestellt, was für viele Gäste jedoch beunruhigend ist. Hinzu kommen zusätzliche Kosten in Höhe von 10 % Service Charge für das Personal sowie 7 % Mehrwertsteuer, ohne dass die entsprechende Serviceleistung tatsächlich erbracht wird. Abfälle und benutztes Geschirr bleiben teilweise stundenlang stehen. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unter diesen Umständen nicht angemessen.

The hotel is under renovation but they don’t disclose it and charge full prices. From early morning to late night you only hear hummers! Also everything is in poor condition and need maintenance. The location is far from everything so basically if you don’t have a car you are stuck in the hotel with all the noise.

Selina is a well thought out concept, catering equally to anyone seeking a quality holiday and digital nomads looking to connect with others. Facilities and food are of excellent quality, the breakfast range is abundant, and the bar staff do not water down their cocktails! Lovely service and a wonderful onsite spa. What more could you ask for? I only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.
