"The hotel and all other considerations a great, what does let the hotel down is the poor breakfast, having stayed a number of times I have consistently found this wanting. I come up for work from Devon once a month and aesthetic and atmosphere are everything to me whilst I am away from home on Business. A good start to my day is also a requirement and this prerequisite is a good edible breakfast. I'm not going to get into the detail, everyone knows what a good breakfast looks like, it doesn't take much imagination, I am no food critic, but they are missing a trick here. I did eat the pervious evening in the hotel restaurant and found this to be satisfactory, my steak and frites was very nice. Yes a disappointing start to my working day. "

"Excellent location in central Reading. Rooms are clean and modernized with functional air conditioning, which was needed in the hot summer. There was noise from upstairs but staff helpfully gave me a complimentary upgrade into a nicer room. Room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely visit Garner again!"

"We stayed for 6 weeks amd each morning Gulia at reception greeted us with a smile and a cheerful comment. She has the perfect demeanor and attention to detail which made us feel welcomed and comfortable. She was able to answer any questions we had about the area and seemed as though she worked 7 days a week! The cleaning staff were efficient and helpful often working around our meetings and schedules. Thank you! "
