Our recent stay at this hotel was truly a nightmare from the start. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a front desk attendant with a clear attitude. We were visibly struggling with our luggage, and she didn’t offer any assistance, nor did she give us any information about the hotel’s amenities like breakfast or the bar/restaurant—which we didn’t even realize existed until the second day.
On the very first night, a terrifying incident occurred. My husband was in the stand-up shower and was sliding the door open to let our 3-year-old son in. Suddenly, the glass shower door exploded into countless shards. He suffered a cut on his arm and needed two stitches in his foot. Had our son entered at that moment, the consequences could have been far worse.
We immediately asked for help. My brother went to the front desk to request a paramedic. The same receptionist who checked us in called them, but that was the extent of her concern. She didn’t offer us towels, ask how my husband was doing, or show even the slightest bit of empathy. She just stood there on the phone with an annoyed expression while my husband was actively bleeding. It was incredibly inhumane and inconsiderate.
We were relocated to another room that night. However, on the second day, the air conditioner in the new room began leaking and drenched all of my luggage and personal items. We were moved again to a third room.
To make matters worse, on our last night, loud music and partying continued until 1
