We have never stayed at a Hilton Hotel and this will be the last time we do so. Staff had a poor attitude at this location and as someone that works in high end hospitality - we did not feel like welcomed guests. We stayed for a lengthy amount of time and felt there were not enough amenities for the amount paid. Unfortunately, everything around us was under construction so there weren’t even sites to see nearby. No parking. The room was also supposed to be a a little nicer as we booked a deluxe and there was nothing size wise “deluxe” about it. It was good for a weekend stay at best. The room also had a weird doll box in it? A little creepy.
Drinks were not consistent ingredient wise at the bar they flaunt so proudly on every website.
There are too many hotels in the city that are more centrally located and way more accommodating (with kinder staff) that don’t look miserable. Do your research and don’t be fooled by photos of spots you’re booking. I have no idea why this hotel is rated “exceptional” on Expedia as it unfortunately did not live up to that word in the slightest.

Really nice hotel in a good area. We booked to be close to Oriente station for our train to Pombal the next day and were pleasantly surprised to find so many eating options at the waterfront nearby.
We also had a fab breakfast at the Grupeto bicycle cafe.
The noon checkout meant a chilled morning before heading to the station.
Would definitely stay here again.
