The staff was highly attentive to all guests, food was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean with excellent toiletries, location,& views to the canal .

Exceptionally friendly high quality hotel
From the outside this hotel looks like a modern chain hotel. However, once inside the quality of the service and friendliness of the staff excel. The staff are very proactive in meeting your needs. The breakfast was excellent and although a buffet style there were many friendly staff menders on hand to provide coffee and help with any requirements you had.

4 star hotel with a view
The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, very comfortable bed and relaxing ambience. A real 4 star hotel with a view to the canals where the ships passed by every so often. The only thing that travelers needs to remember is that, if you plan to dine in the restaurant on your arrival, reservation must be made before hand, info that we missed before we arrived.

Nice hotel with good location close to the highway and close to town. Nice restaurant and bar in the same building. Minuses: the pillows were horrible and the breakfast was decent, but nothing exceptional. At dinner the waiter had a hard time speaking English and brought me a different dish than what I had ordered.

Interesting hotel.
Well located hotel next to the interesting ship canal. Good restaurant. Bikes are for rent from the front desk at reasonable cost. Normal and electric assist bikes. Walk under the canal foot tunnel for more restaurants on the other side.

I stay at the Convent Garden very often. It Is consistently good, although I would recommend the deluxe rooms. The restaurant is 'carniverous' and not an option for vegetarians..

The hotel and restaurant staff were amazing! They couldnt have been more kind, helpful and always with a friendly greeting. The restaurant wait staff were lovely. As it was the Easter holiday, the hotel restaurant was fully booked but they made sure there was a table available to me for dinner. Nice! The location was perfect. Right on the Kiel canal with the walking/bike path right out the door and the pedestrian tunnel. Nice and quiet too.

Stay @ Convent Garten Hotel
I have stayed at th Convent Garten hotel many times this year and find it to be a consistently good hotel. If you eat in their restaurant, try the Entrecote - it is excellent!!

Nice quiet hotel by the canal
This is a nice quiet hotel by the canal with a good, albeit expensive, restaurant. The buffet breakfast was good quality and included in the price, The room was OK although you have to pay extra for a canal side view! The shower was on the small side I thought. You ideally need a car to stay here as it's quite far from the Rendsburg & Osterroenfeld centres.

Die Preise im Restaurant und der Service passen nicht zusammen. Zum Spargel kalte Hollondaise (Preis 29.90€ für 500g und Kartoffeln), Bedienung kamen ständig mit Essen und Getränken ohne zu wissen an welchen Tisch sie gehören (angeblich neue Tischordnung). Salat mit Ziegenkäsetalern (20€), leider war die Salatsauce zu sauer. Auf den Wunsch die Ziegentaler seperat zum Salat anzurichten, komischen Kommentar bekommen (da kriege ich Ärger mit der Küche...) und dann trotzden zusammen serviert. Dusche leider mit vielen schimmligen Stellen unten.

Dejligt hotel
Weekendtur til Rendsborg. Dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed direkte ved Kielerkanalen. Er kommet der i over 50 år med bedsteforældre, forældre, venner m.fl. og kan kun anbefale dette. Tæt på Kiel og Neumünster. Selve byen har ikke det store, men ok.

Stilvoll eingerichtete, sehr ruhige Zimmer. Spannender Ausblick auf den NOK von bestimmten Zimmern. Freundliches Personal. Frühstücksbuffet mit mittlerer aber durchaus guter Auswahl in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Fint hotel med god renlighed. Centralt beliggende lige ved siden af kanalen med tunnel under kanalen for gående og cykelister og gåafstand rundt i byen. Morgenmaden er ganske udemærket og service i receptionen er fin.

Immer gern wieder
Das Zimmer war hell, gepflegt und hervorragend eingerichtet. Das Frühstück außergewöhnlich mit Sekt und Bonbons. Das Hotel scheint auch von Bussen gern angefahren zu werden. Dadurch ist es schwierig einen Platz im Restaurant zu finden. Vorreservierung ist wohl nötig. Aber es gibt Alternativen in Rendsburg.

Hotellet er fint og med god beliggenhed. Morgenmaden var middelmådig. Vi spiste aftensmad i restauranten første aften - det var rent ud sagt en katastrofe - utrolig sløv betjening - de havde mere travlt med at stå og diskutere bag skranken end betjene gæsterne. Det virkede som om vores tjener hverken kunne tysk eller engelsk. Efter middagen ville vi have en drink på terrassen, men der havde de mere travlt med at rydde op end servere, så vi gik efter 10 minutter uden at vi blev værdiget et blik - vi var trods alt 9 personer. Det er ikke en restaurant vi kan anbefale på grund af den dårlige service. Der er der meget bedre restauranter inde i byen der kan anbefales - f.eks. Fraulein Mohls, Panne Vino og Drei.
