“The old historic hotel is lovely, the spoon bread in the restaurant was delicious!”

“Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. We had a tv with a large choice of channels, a mini frig., microwave, and iron board + iron. We could get a cup of coffee any time in the lobby too! Breakfast was basic. The young gentleman at the front desk ( Shrey?) was extremely friendly, professional, and polite. Every time we saw him he was vacuuming, cleaning a window, and well, basically keeping the place Organized and fresh! ...

“After driving 9 hours from Wisconsin to the hotel in a driving rain storm got to the hotel. Check in was fine, wanted to sit back relax and have a good night sleep. At 3 :30 in the morning I awake and hear that it’s raining outside so I thought. Got out of bed that the ceiling was crumbling and water was pouring in. “The motel is old, paint is scuffed in places, but it was painted in cheery colors and was spotless. A beautifully clean room is wonderful. I definitely recommend it.”

“This hotel is in really bad condition. The linens were very dingy and there was no body wash. The plumbing was loud and not hot. There was no housekeeping staff during the early evening. The rooms do not look or feel clean. There was very little food and NO coffee. We went to the Hardee’s across the street. The Baymont is very convenient to the music venue across the street but we will be driving a little further next time. ”

“The price was budget friendly. In addition to the TV, there was a fridge & microwave, Iron & Ironing board and small coffee maker with coffee and creamer packets in the room, which we don't always find in a room at this price. It was clean and comfortable and we would certainly stay there again.”

“Our stay was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the Innkeeper was very helpful in telling us some of the history of the surrounding area. We enjoyed driving the area and visiting a couple of surrounding towns.”
