"As a solo woman traveler, safety and cleanliness are really important. The Fallon Hotel fulfilled both -- a quiet downtown with the young family owners in residence. The bed linens and towels were immaculately white and the bed super comfortable. Also important to me is avoiding chain hotels where each one looks like the last. Travel should bring new experiences. The Fallon Hotel comes through again, a huge old building in a historic old town along the Susquehanna River. And it's a great opportunity for people who love old buildings to get a glimpse into one family's dream project (a big one ....). I think some rooms are more restored than others and the one I had still needed a few minor tweaks. But I loved the original sink and bathtub, the light fixtures, etc. I hope they continue to "lean" into and restore these special features that make for a true historic hotel experience. I'll definitely stay there again."

"Front desk staff very friendly and informative. Told us about many of the amenities at the hotel as well as what was available in the surrounding local area. Rooms were very clean. Overall hotel was very clean and modern. Including breakfast and cookies and coffee in the lobby."

"It was a lovely inn set in eagle state park. Only reason for my good rating was the bed was too high and wasn't really comfortable. Everything else was top knotch...from the eco-friendly practices to the tasty breakfast."

"We thought we had booked the room for the night of our arrival but found out we were off by a day. Called the check in number and was helped by a very understanding person who made it possible to stay that night. After a long day of traveling this was a wonderful outcome. Room was clean and plenty of towels to go around."

"Room was clean but had a weird smell (cleaning solution). It was also a little cramped. Gym was small. Didn't get a chance to check out breakfast. Staff could have been a little more friendly. Had to go down to the lobby ourselves to get more towels. They seemed a little bothered that we even asked. "

"Cramer Family Mountain Inn was the perfect stay for me to visit my niece at PSU during graduation weekend. The Inn was easy to find, check in was a breeze. It was quiet, the mattress was lovely and the place was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Cramer Family Mountain Inn and I hope to be back in the future. "
