The staff were great. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is located within minutes of the majority of the places in downtown we wanted to visit so we didn’t need a car. The room size’s are small, but nice. I would recommend this place to friends if visiting the downtown area.
Loved this hotel and the wonderful staff, which includes a beautiful lab dog to greet the guests. Location is convenient to all literally,. easy access to tour shuttles and bus to / from airport. Can't say enough great things about hotel and staff, YOU WONT Be disappointed! Restaurant was amazing, loved the creme brûlée.
I can't wait to go back!!
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable and nearby to many restaurants and attractions in the city.
The two dinners that we had at Kastrup, the hotel’s restaurant were excellent.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Great location for easy access to restaurants and major sites. Only one luggage rack. Major drawback is the hallways are incredibly dark and, even after you take the elevator to your floor, there are 5-6 steps you have to navigate with your luggage and there are no lights and no handrail.
We got the suite which was really well considered in terms of the layout. The design of the place was great, just the right amount formal and relaxed. It felt very peaceful being there. It's thoughtfully done.
A couple small quibbles: the room card keys deprogrammed easily, inconvenient. And if you take a bath there was no dedicated shampoo / conditioner / body soap so you had to walk over to the shower which had stationary containers of these. But everything worked so smoothly that those things felt like tiny details within a wonderful stay.
What an awesome location. If you like it cool in the room this is warm. If you leave your window open at night on a weekend it sounds like your right in the party. But the hotel was awesome, lobby is wonderful and staff is super friendly. Would absolutely recommend this spot but know that it's loud on the weekend if your windows are open.
This is possibly my new favorite hotel! My room was amazing, the staff were all friendly and helpful, enjoyed the bar, but the best part was the spa in the basement!
Pros: Very nice hotel; Scandinavian look; great common area; pleasant staff; great location. Cons: Asked for a room high up and away from the front street because had read about the noise from the rowdy nightlife…was told by front desk staff that I would be accommodated on 5th floor, but when I was finally assigned room, it was on 4th floor on the main street—we were kept awake until 3:30am both nights by the partiers on the street; stifling hot room—had to ask for a fan to be able to tolerate the heat—thankfully a fan was available!
This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights.
