Hali
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (479 reviews)
"This was such a unique accommodation, fairly isolated but located so close to big attractions (like diamond beach/Jökulsárlón lagoon). We stayed in a cabin with a washroom, it was clean and quaint. We were able to park just outside of our cabin, you definitely need a car to stay here but if you’re looking at this accommodation I’d imagine you are aware of that. We left early in the morning so we didn’t have breakfast, it looked decent. Complimentary tea and coffee are always available near the...

"It is a great place to stay near Höfn. Be mindful that it's about 30 min drive from Höfn so if you need to have a dinner or buy grocery then there is quite the drive. Also, they have a Sheep dog who is friendly but will approach your car and bark at you because you are entering in the property."

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We were in a standard room and were very impressed by the comfort and quality - the photos don’t do the room justice! The bathroom was very modern and well maintained and the double bed very comfortable. There are a few hangers but otherwise not much space to unpack. We also enjoyed the amenities the hotel has to offer. We tried the restaurant twice for dinner and although it is a bit expensive, the food was an absolutely delicious fine dining experience. The breakfast is also served in the restaurant, which is buffet style with lots of options. The panoramic view from the restaurant is beautiful, especially when the sun is rising. The spa facilities are also very nice and well maintained, with lovely views."
