We had a great stay at Plaza Spania! The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location is very safe and central. Will definitely come back the next time I visit Rio :)

Convenient location and excellent value!

An excellent choice that you might wish to consider! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and overall this is a great hotel choice based on its location and value. The hotel is conveniently located only one block from Praia Shopping Botafogo and also convenient to the metro line (2 blocks away). The entire staff worked hard to ensure our comfort - from the wonderful breakfast buffet to attending to all of our needs to providing wonderful service. Muito abrigado, Plaza Spania!

Staff & service was very cordial and helpfull, however the room had seemed like it had unfinished construction work, like cement on the bathroom floor, some infiltration on the bathroom and some spots of painting on random places, besides that it was an okay room.

Awesome place

Had a great stay, very nice hotel ans good staff. They are really friendly, have a nice solo artist on the weekend’s. Location is really amazing, it definitely felt safer than Copacabana. The breakfast is awesome ans their cakes. The room I had was small but it is expected for the price. I would stay longer, my only complaint is there is no natural sunlight. The rooms are inside so there are no windows for outside. If it had that, would definitely staid longer. I definitely recommend the place and I definitely would return.

A limpeza do quarto deixa a desejar, especificamente quanto ao chão estava sempre sujo, não parece que tinha sido limpo. Sem contar que também que tinha uma baratinha na pia do banheiro. De resto o hotel é muito bem localizado e o café da manhã é ok também.
