Motel 6 Marina, CA - Monterey
It's location and price were my major selling points for this motel. I was pleased that it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's really close to the beach.

Dream Inn Santa Cruz
We were allowed to check in early since our room was ready. The staff were very considerate. Kids enjoyed the stream near the shore. There were a lot of shower areas where you could wash your feet before you go back to your room. The location was perfect, walking distance to the braodway.

Was floating around the Monterey Bay area and landed in Santa Cruz after a day of traveling. Booked here on impulse and it was fine value for the price.
