“I booked a "Deluxe Suite" at this hotel. They put me in a substantially lower quality room (without mentioning the difference). When I went back to raise the issue with them, they said that due to a mistake, they had given my room to someone else. I told them that wasn't acceptable and booked another hotel through Orbitz. They then refused to refund my reservation, and Orbitz likewise refused to refund my reservation. So everyone should know that if the hotel doesn't deliver what it promised,...

“Such a wonderful stay! The hosts couldn't have been any more helpful and caring--amazing people. The room was quiet, comfortable, and homey. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was new & modern. Wish we could have stayed a week.”

“This is not an hotel which means that the reception is not usually staffed. You are given a key which opens both the front door and your bedroom. I found this unusual but not inconvenient. The staff are lovely and it is not too far from the middle of town. A bit up hill if you are out of condition ”

“I’ve been staying at Park Hotel since 2007. It’s a nice, cozy place, with excellent value for the money. Very quiet for being situated in the middle of the city. Nice surrounding park. Free private parking. It’s been constantly upgraded, but not really up to date. Breakfast is not included, it’s pricey and lacking. The restaurant menu is surprisingly poor. ”

“The owners went out of their way to provide any service they can to make the stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond by doing some laundry then refused any payment. I was extremely grateful because we were running out of clean clothes. The rooms were amazing. The restaurant provided one of the finest meals we had during our trip. The property was tranquil and relaxing.”

“At one day in the morning the maid broke into my room at 6 am in the morning trying to clean or do something else. I am not too sure. I believe this is a No-Go. After I communicated this with the reception they told me they were hearing weird noises. While breaking into my room they destroyed the locking system of the door. I told the receptionist to order a Taxi for 10am, but he forgot to do so. I had to pay double the price for a transfer to the airport than the usual taxi price. (100 RON) ”
