Many stay overnight to rest and get going to their destination. Me and mine stayed the weekend. This was our second stay, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. We had a River View, which was great to see the whole garden area also. Terrace on the bedroom where you can enjoy the view and relax. Simple yet accommodating. Close to many places to enjoy and shop for those little extras you may have forgot or just want to add for further enjoyment. And guess what, there is Fishing close by. We loved it.

Things we liked: the staff were kind and very helpful. Good location. Nice view of the river. The coffee was amazing! Nice pool. Decent continental breakfast included. Things we found disappointing: our room was mediocre and wasn't ready on time, the air conditioning was loud, no fan in the bathroom (but there's a window), drain flies appeared in and around the bathroom, hair dryer didn't work, wobbly plugs on the night table lamps which proved to be useless for charging our phones overnight. We mentioned everything here to the hotel front desk. Nothing so bad that we wouldn't stay there again. FYI, the value was reasonable for the price paid.

For a very old place it was relatively clean. The room had a bad smell (an odd cleaner? urine? ick) We were on the middle floor and the noise from above our room was loud. The view of the river was pretty, and we had a small deck. Staff was very very nice. Location was convenient to old town. For the price it was bearable, but I would not recommend it to most people.

This is not a 5-Star tropical resort, but for what it is, a rustic little resort tucked well away from the busy bustle of life, it's great! I did a really late check in, but the staff member was waiting for me, and fit me settled right away. One window screen was damaged but functional (and another was missing altogether) and the bedroom AC was really loud but worked well. Aside from those minor issues, I loved the place!

This hotel is in a great location, and we enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Breakfast was sufficient, but no hot food. The parking was a bit tricky and not convenient to our third floor room. The upper lot was always full and the two flights of stairs from the lower level parking garage were a challenge with our luggage and travel bags.
