We loved our stay at Hideaway as a family of 4. The rooms were newly renovated and had everything we needed, excellent playground complete with sandpit and trampoline for the kids, as well as the friendly Alpacas we could hand feed right in the backyard. The location was so convenient to Fairy Springs attractions, supermarket and central Rotorua. Thank you for accommodating our little sausage dog too :)

The room was a great setup for a family with a separate kids room away from the main living area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. YouTube on the tv was helpful with the kids. Bathroom spotless and nice tub. Alpacas, a sheep and bunnies were on the property and the owner gives you food you can hand feed them. Great playground and grassy area for kids to play on. Really friendly and helpful owner!

Staff were very friendly & welcoming upon arrival. Great parking. Kids loved the park and alpacas outside, right in the centre of everything - bonus was being able to feed the animals too. Our room was #19 - Delux family room with spa. It was very clean & tidy - everyday our towels were replaced with fresh ones and our bins were always emptied. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊

Our short 2 night stay was perfect, the rooms are cosy and well appointed, although the kitchen sink is placed under a cupboard that protrudes and the tap is poorly designed. Was a bit disappointed that new building works all around, which was noisy at times. Also the outdoor patio area wasn't really usable as people next door were smoking, and we had to keep our door shut to keep out smell too.
