The condition of the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. I had stinky food left in the fridge, which stank horribly. I checked in around 11 pm because of late travel and the shower was still wet? Not to mention the mold around the bottom of the shower, the rusted soap dish that was on the counter and the handicapped chair in the shower that was filthy. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times and the cleanliness of the rooms are always the same. Dirty and neglected. I will not be staying here again in the future.

Really the only complaints was that the DND sign was not in the room, we had to go ask for it down in the front lobby. What happened to them being kept in the rooms??

Well, first - the the front desk wasn't all that receptive... the guy was dry and short. Then it seems that the housekeeping staff was moving 'slow' and had cleaned all the rooms (though it was after check in time). At least that is what i was told at the front desk, after i asked if they were understaffed... the guy responded and they said they were just moving slow. Then the room... knowing that it was going to be a rush job, I didn’t have high expectations... plus I had a long day and just needed some rest. The bathroom floor had been swept or mopped; hair all on the floor. Also, the tub is clogged up with hair similar to what i saw on the floor. Smh. This experience was very poor and I should be compensated for this stay.

The shower did not work & the stopper in the bathtub wouldn't go down. The shades for the windows were extremely thin & there was a street light right outside my window which resulted in little to no sleep since I had a light shining in my eyes waking me up every time I rolled over.

The desk representative was friendly and professional. However, the room was not cleaned well, there was no hot water (lukewarm at best), the bathtub/shower was not cleaned. I could literally see streaks of residue on the shower walls. The wall behind the toilet was missing paint and plaster. The chair and lamp in the room were not clean. The bath towels were tossed in the storage area. The towels were extremely thin and needed to be replaced. You had to use two remotes for the television and had to figure out which was which. I didn't feel comfortable at all in the room. It was just a horrible hotel stay for me and I do not plan on using Best Western again.Jason was extremely friendly and professional, but the room itself was absolutely awful.

This was the best breakfast we’ve had at a hotel in a long time! The pancake maker was perfect and the food was all hot and delicious!

Unprofessional Housekeeping
My experience at the Best Western in Ruston, La was fair. No hot water for a shower, bathroom door didn't lock. I experience housekeeping with her two small children with her as she attempted to work. (As a mother of three, I truly understand the struggle of having to work and care for small children, but come on how great of a job (cleaning the rooms) can you do with her kids with you on the floors. On the day of check out housekeeping banged on my room door as if their were the police. Traveling by myself for the first time since the loss of my husband I was terrified by the commotion. They proceeded to come into the room without notice, I was in the shower at the time. This cause additional anxiety to my already anxious emotional state of mind. The behavior/service of housekeeping/hotel staff confirms I would never stay at this establishment again, and I don't recommend any elso to stay here.

Good Hotel But Needs Attention
The room was large and the bed comfy, even though the elastic on bottom sheet was too worn to keep the sheet on the bed. Tears in the shower curtain. And the front desk staff was not the friendliest we have encountered. They were more focused on enjoying each other’s company. The cleaning staff, however, were kind and attentive. The breakfast was short on choices but hot and well cooked. We had stayed here a year or so ago, and it was much better then. If the management doesn’t step up soon, it will be on its way to being rundown.

Clean and comfortable room
The desk clerk was polite and professional. Check in was quick. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a good nights sleep.

Good, but bad!
The staff was great as was the breakfast, however my bathroom was dirty and not properly cleaned. There was a dried out stiff wash cloth handing from the shower curtain rod and hair in the tub! It also smelled like that mildewy sour rancid smell, possibly from the shower curtain itself. Also the bed wasn't comfortable and quite hard. The manager needs to check the housekeepers to make sure they are thoroughly cleaning the rooms.

The hotel is modern and seems newly renovated. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast had plenty of options. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel seems to have undergone a recent renovation so it’s nice and clean but what stood out the most was the super friendly staff at check in!

Towels were in terrible shape....thin and very small. And we had to use the same towels the next day as they said there were no more clean towels downstairs.

This is a fairly new hotel. Although not filthy not what I would consider clean, the room I am in anyway. The entrance of the hotel is clean but the rooms need to be deep cleaned. Lots of stains on the walls, bathroom tub and toilet were stained. Thankfully I travel with cleaning supplies. I got in late so made sure to put my dnd sign on door. They still knocked on the door before 10. The check in agent was friendly and got me checked in swiftly. I was tired and a bit grumpy. His bubbly personality was infectious and snapped me right out of that. He deserves a raise.
