Although we appreciate your viewpoint, we'd like to offer some clarity to the situation. The manager called to give an opportunity to provide a valid method of payment for a reservation that was made by you. At first, you stated that you did not make a reservation. Then stated that you did make the reservation and would provide another method of payment to avoid cancellation because you preferred the location over the alternative you also had held. The dates of stay were confirmed and the method of payment was authorized with you still on the phone. The dates of stay were not changed. Confirmation for the original reservation was sent to you at the time of booking with the dates of stay noted. If they were incorrect, the responsible party is the person that booked the reservation, not the Hotel or Expedia. Furthermore, the Hotel reduced the penalty by half as a courtesy. We hope this offers you some clarity.
