We owe an extreme debt of gratitude to the Golfhotel. Had it not been such a poor experience, we would never have fled early to experience our world-class hotel in Lausanne, where we stayed for the same price or less! This hotel was way overpriced. We were "nickeled and dimed" for many things. Accommodations were 1/2 mile walk from main hotel and restaurant. Most of the guests are 3-generation families, so there are tons of kids. Unsupervised children were running around all over the hotel at all times of day and night. Food was way overpriced, average at best and inedible at worst. They could not even cook a simple hamburger properly. Entrees arrived over one hour after ordering. Service very slow, unapologetic. Very poor management of both hotel and restaurant. Unwilling to accept criticism. Hotel in poor location, it is not in the village of Gstaad, it is in Saanenmoser where there is nothing else to do. We would not return to this hotel for any reason. This hotel charges world-class prices, but it is no world-class hotel!

It seems that our hotel was just not the rigth choice for you since no only the hotel but alos the village, skiresort etc. was not good enoguht. Saanenmoser's Jewel - perfect family-run hotel
Absolutely lovely in every way -- Clean, pretty and quiet -- excellent food and fast wifi. Perfect for a break -- or holiday -- recommend frequently.

Rude management!
We asked for a different room because the one we received was very far away in annexed building. The changed our room to the main one. Upon checkout, the price they demanded was double the price of the room we booked. The manager was horrible to us. Argued with us telling us we were told this, but we were not. I would never agree to a room that was more than double the price of our booking. It was a horrible experience at the front desk. The manager was rude beyond comprehension. Finally charged us correctly, but with undue aggravation. Will never stay there again.

Die aussicht vom zimmer aus war super! Wir haben dank dem schönen wetter den balkon mit den liegestühlen genoßen! Genoßen haben wir auch wiedermal an einer bar ein apero zu nehmen und dann ein feines abendeßen serviert bekommen!

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr angenehm. Das Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Der Wellnessbereich bietet viele Möglichkeiten, ist grosszügig und schön gestaltet. Einziger Negativpunkt des Hotels betrifft die Küche und teilweise den Servicebereich im Restaurant. Vom Essen war ich enttäuscht, schlecht zubereitet und zu teuer. Für ein gutes Essen wären die Preise gerechtfertigt, jedoch für eine solche Küche sind die Preise eindeutig zu hoch.

Великолепный отель для отдыха семьей или с друзьями! Очень красивое место и огромные возможности хорошо отдохнуть. Бассейн, фитнес, спа, бильярд, настольный теннис - замечательное времяпровождение! Пешие прогулки и катание на лыжах в окружении сказочной природы. Вечером душевные посиделки с чаем у камина под живую музыку! Жаль, что время пролетает очень быстро! Спасибо всем!

Das Hotel ist mit **** sehr adequat bewertet
Hotellage ideal, nahe Bahnhof Saanenmöser. Sehr schönes Zimmer und Badezimmer. Pool entspannend. Ambiente im Restaurant und Frühstückszimmer sehr angenehm. Die Winterwanderwege sehr vielseitig und gut unterhalten. Servicequalität könnte noch verbessert werden.

Good hotel all year round
Lovely hotel except for the attitude of the owner/manager. In the restaurant at dinner (2nd November) he greeted all other guests, but coming to our table, looked us up and down rather disparagingly, and didn't even say good evening. My husband and I are in our late 60s, perfectly dressed, and are not used to being insulted in this way. The rest of the staff were a delight!

Hotel maravilhoso! Serviços impecáveis! Desde a recepção, restaurantes e o quarto aconchegante, com vista para as montanhas. O garçom Diabo é super profissional e atencioso. Erholung in der Frühlingssonne
Ursprünglich als Skiwochenende geplant, konnten wir das rundum gut geführte Hotel nur als Fussgänger/Autofahrer geniessen. Grund: Eine medizinischer Eingriff verhinderte sportliche Aktivitäten. Umso mehr konnten wir das Hotel und die Umgebung bei bestem Wetter geniessen. Die Betten in unserem Zimmer verrieten jede Bewegung. Zum Glück hat dies der Zimmerservice selber rausgefunden. So war der Liegekomfort in der zweiten Nacht einwandfrei. Ansonsten gibt es keine Beanstandungen. Eine schöne, weitläufige Anlage direkt beim Bahnhof und der Talstation gelegen. Wäre ideal für Ski- und Langlauf geeignet...

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel ausgestattet. Das Bad fällt selbst für ein Hotel dieser Klasse sehr gross aus. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren stets perfekt sauber. Die Ausstattung ist etwas älter und das Bett nicht extrem komfortabel. Sauna und Wellness-Bereich fällt gross aus und ist freundlich eingerichtet.
