This is a wonderful inn with a fantastic breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place is beautiful— and right across the street from the castle. Excellent restaurant associated with the hotel too, just down the street.

Beautiful old hotel

The hotel is in a beautiful location, on its own island between the town centre and the castle. It is an old and very characterful building, beautifully maintained. Service is excellent and the breakfasts are fantastic. The only negative thing to note is that mosquitoes are a serious problem in the summer. There is no a/c, so it is necessary to leave the windows open to have any fresh air, and then the mosquitoes come in… It would be good to provide rooms with plug-in insect deterrent.

Amazing location by the Castle

Amazing location, best Breakfast experience in Kuressaare. My last visit I had a deluxe room with a balcony and castle view (if available book that). They were sold out this time, but my room was cozy. Weather was warm so A/C would be nice- but everything else was perfect.

Loistava hotelli, hyvällä sijainilla.

Vierailu tässä hotellissa oli kokonaisuudessaan erinomainen. Hotelli sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla, mikä tekee siitä täydellisen tukikohdan kaupunkiin tutustumiseen. Sisätiloissa on ripaus luksusta, mikä luo hienostuneen tunnelman. Erityisen kiitoksen ansaitsee ammattitaitoinen ja kohtelias henkilökunta, joka huolehti kaikista tarpeistani. Aamiainen oli myös aivan loistava ja tarjosi mainion startin päivään. Ainoa pieni miinus oli huoneen ilmastoinnin puute. Yö oli lämmin, ja vaikka huoneessa olikin toimiva tuuletin, kunnon ilmastointi olisi ollut mukava lisä. Tämä on kuitenkin pieni kauneusvirhe muuten täydellisessä kokemuksessa. Suosittelen hotellia lämpimästi.

Hotelli erinomaisella sijainnilla, parkkipaikka ihan hotellin vieressä (ei tosin sähköauton latausmahdollisuutta) ja tärkeimmät nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä. Hotelli on hieno ja tunnelmallinen, todellinen boutique-hotelli. Huoneessamme oli tosin vain kylpyamme, joten sinne kapuaminen suihkuun mentäessä vaati hieman ketteryyttä.

Visiting Kuressaare

This is a great spot to visit Kuressaare. The location and staff are excellent. It is, however, a small hôtel and is extremely popular on weekends with repeat and regular visitors. Therefore, the selection and choice of rooms are limited. I would recommend going during week-days.
