"The property had everything required for a comfortable stay - the kitchen was fully equipped. The bedroom walls are a bit thin and you can “hear” everything in the adjacent apt bedroom. The signs and directions are in Finnish But that aside the sauna is huge and the whole apt is absolutely welcoming "

"The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead."
