“We had a lovely stay, great location. Staff were lovely and helpful. Improvments could be made. Family room needs better lighting, a fridge would be great as the milk went bad, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the bathroom was very wet after a shower, and the shower was extremely hot, no child would have been able to use it let alone an adult. But it does have good points. The improvements would make it a fantastic stay”

“3 Horse shoes was great, for some reason our bedroom got mixed up, was supposed to have a family room but got a double. Staff sorted the issue, i dont know but apparenty is was an Expedia mix up. Issue was sorted by the morning even though we arrived late, cool pub with a kids soft play and decent playground. Foods nice, staff great.....”

“If "Good enough" is good enough for you, the Coal Exchange will meet your needs. It is an old building with character so don't expect it to look or feel new. I don't think the room or bathroom got well cleaned but again, for me at that time, it was good enough. Most days the breakfast was fine - all you can eat buffet consisting of eggs, sausages, etc. The morning after a big event was hosted in the ballroom however, I arrived in the restaurant to find a lot of the stations at the buffet, empty...

“Overpriced. Had a huge bedroom that was, on the whole, pretty clean. Had an issue with grime in the sink. Staff didn't seem to care or offer anything in goodwill. Breakfast was average. Views very pretty. Free parking - a bonus.”
