"Gorgeous hotel in a quiet location, 2 minutes from the beach, friendly staff, on-site spa with great services... It's a little piece of heaven. The only thing I could see that might turn people off is the staff don't all speak English fluently, but as a French speaker myself, I found them to be very considerate and lovely. Definitely worth the price!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Alexis. The location was perfect and the beach access was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool area. As a result, the restaurant—highly rated and one we had been looking forward to—was closed. Unfortunately, there were no appealing dining options nearby. The music from the wedding was extremely loud and continued well past 2 a.m. This was our last night in Réunion, and it wasn’t the relaxing evening we had hoped for. The hotel should have informed us in advance about the event and the restaurant closure, so we could have made an informed decision. The owner kindly reached out to us directly to apologize and offered to have a meal prepared, but by then we had already bought some basics at the local grocery store. I'm sure this was an isolated incident and that the hotel is usually quite comfortable, but I felt it was important to share our experience as this could have been avoided. "

The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation. Buffet was good but limited selection if you are, or have, a picky eater."

"we were very happy in this hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast tasty even for us - vegans/vegetarians, we especially liked the fried beans and daily potatoes in skin. Centraly located in downtown St. Denis just a few steps away from the ocean. Free drinks at the lobby were very much appreciated. Would love to come back ane day."
