"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

"A wonderful stay and a wonderful host! An old mid-1600 building in thre old city. Wonderful restaurants near by. Owner makes a different breakfast each day and her food was excellent. One draw back, it is not for people who have trouble walking hp stairs, there are plenty. Plus, the taxi drops you off at the bottom of the hill and a short stteo walk to it."

"This is a beautiful old chateaux-style building, which is owned and run by the family who live there. Sandrine and Frank are both excellent hosts and very friendly and welcoming. The location a beautiful country setting, next to vineyards. It is around 5 miles from the nearest large town. We decided to go out for the evening to the local town and Sandrine was so helpful in booking us a taxi and restaurant. One small tip - if you go into town it is best to drive yourself as the taxis are...
