"The Travelodge by Wyndham Santee was just what we needed. We were in town for a pre-wedding gathering and a wedding the next day. The location was great and also made for the shortest travel time for returning home. The bed was very comfortable. The major negative was that the a/c was off when we arrived and with temperatures in the upper 80s-mid 90s, it took a very long time to cool off. And the moisture never left - our clothes were still damp when we got back home. Overall, the stay served its purpose."

"I had stayed in this hotel one week earlier on my way to Florida and I left the charger for my electric toothbrush. When I returned on my way back to Virginia I found out that the maid had turned it in to the front desk. It was an insignificant piece of equipment but it was nice that they held it for my return. The front desk clerk and the maid were very helpful in making me feel welcome. The clerk that works the front office in the morning was also on top of everything. She kept the coffee brewing, the food restocked and the tables clean. I have stayed here twice a year for the last three years and I intend to continue as long as I am able to make the drive to see my grandson in Florida."

"This was a delightful experience! Although this Baymount is an older hotel, it as undergone a remodel/renovation that makes it a delightful stay. The evening attendant was ever so pleasant and friendly and helpful. My husband loved the breakfast tht was available. Don't miss this hidden gem at a GREAT rate!!!"

"The staff was lovely. The breakfast was good. Parking was easy and plentiful. The room? While clean, it was sloppy. Broken fixtures or ill fitting. One side of the room was empty without furniture. A spot where a table with chairs and a seat to sit and read would have been great. The floors were clean but sticky. I wouldn’t recommend staying there for the price we paid. "

"Staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was very clean as well as the grounds. Pool was so relaxing and there was even I float the I could use. Air conditioning was a little loud and the refrigerator was in the TV stand which I didn't see. Typical breakfast-- bunch of high processed high sugar food. Would definitely stay there again."
