"Beautiful villa converted into hotel by extending the property. Very modern interior. The property is only 2 stories surrounding a modern pool area with an attached bar area. Our room was on the first floor pool side. It was large and spacious. They had a bottle of wine awaiting us with a sweet hand written note. The room was modern and up to date. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also modern and had all amenities. The property is in a small cozy town with a few restaurants, boulangeries and ice cream shop, etc. It is about half an hour from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and about 45 minutes from Gorges du Verdon. Since we checked in late, they allowed us quite a late check out. This was an excellent property that I highly recommend and would stay there again."

"The facility is upscale, clean and well kept. The main issue was the restaurant staff. The hotel has 4 restaurants and there is large number of staff they hired. However, the staff were untrained and uncoordinated. For instance we saw the reception and let them know we are there for a drink late night, and they seated us. Another server came by and said this restaurant (La Source) is only for eating and asked us to leave. That left a horrible taste and totally ruined the night. Same issues at breakfast where we showed up and there was no one to receive us. The tea was cold and I had to wait for 5-10 min to get a hold of a server and asked for a hot tea.. chateau de la guide is a great establishment and has the potential to be a lot better once they can fix the staff skill and professionalism. One more thing, we dined at the bar and the food was really bad. The beef skewers were super s wet and overcooked. Tempura was absolutely cold and charcuterie was stale. Lots of opportunities here"

"The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great place for children to play and run around. We particularly enjoyed staying under the tree in the shaded area. The room and bathroom are very good size. The location is ideal and very peaceful. Only 30 minutes to Marseille or Aix en Provence. Accessible by public transport. I took a bus back to the airport in Marseille and it was very easy."

"Super Lage, fußläufig zum Zentrum und genau richtig für einen kurzen Trip nach Aix en Provence. Das Hotel hat uns gut gefallen, nur wegen folgendem Thema müssen wir einen Punkt abziehen: Wir sind mit einem Kleinkind gereist und fanden es schade, dass das gebuchte Babybett keine Matratze hatte. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, dass dies aufgrund von Hygienevorschriften nicht mehr bereit gestellt wird. Es wäre gut gewesen das vorab schon klarer zu kommunizieren, damit man sich evtl. entsprechend vorbereiten kann. Wir mussten dann mit Decken improvisieren, da das Bett ohne die Matratze zu hart war. "
