โThis B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.โ

The owner hosts are very nice and have done an amazing job with this property. Five rooms in total avaiable for guests , it never felt crowded or uncomfortable.
Beautiful gardens and pool to relax and enjoy close proximity to restaurants and a five min walk to the famous Libourne Market. Parking out front free on weekends 5.00 euro on other days .

Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. โ

As outstanding all of this was, it was exceeded by the awesome Grand Barrail staff. Everyone was so genuine, pleasant and helpful; extraordinary! They really added to the enjoyment of our visit.โ

Il nous a mรชme dรฉpannรฉ sa propre plancha un soir afin que nous puissions faire cuire notre viande. Je recommande vivement dโaller y faire un petit tour car le cadre est juste magnifique et les chambres sont somptueuses.
Jโallais aussi oublier le petit dรฉjeuner qui est trรจs copieux et tous les produits sont frais tous les matins.

Room comfortable but lack of places to put things. Form over function. Basin could not hold water! No mirror in dressing table area so hairdryer not close to socket. All easily solved. It seemed designed beautifully by someone who had never slept in the room. But. Did not detract. A lovely hotelโ

โThe Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. โ
