"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). "This is decent accommodation set in an idyllic location. The rooms are spacious but the decor is a bit dated ( especially bathrooms) and could do with some refurbishment. Staff are generally friendly and attentive but their English is not fluent so that needs to be taken into account. Hotel breakfast is not the grandest but nice but they could do with hot options - scrambled eggs at the very least.. on the positive, their croissants are one of the best we had . The main thing to note is that the property is outside the Chamonix town and is a 6 min bus ride and 30 min walk to the town. Buses are every 30 mins and if you plan ahead it is manageable . If staying at the property please ensure you do the riverside walk behind the hotel. It is absolutely stunning."
