Best value for money

This has got to be one of the best value places in Salalah, or Oman. We had some difficulty finding it because there is more than one hotel in Salalah with Star House in the name and the property didn’t have an exact address on the reservation, only the street name. We had a full kitchen with in suite laundry, living area, bathroom, bedroom, and balcony for 10 OMR per night—hard to beat that in Oman. We were expecting a sub par experience given the low price but the room was nicer and better kept than rooms that cost three or four times as much. Everything in the room worked, the staff were chatty and friendly. They offer you tea and coffee in the lobby and carry your bags up for you. It was truly one of the best places we stayed during our stay in Oman, and for sure the best value for money.
