We enjoyed our stay and the apartment was done up to a nice standard. Self check in was nice and easy, there were a couple minor issues that when brought to attention were dealt with, overall i would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay with good facilities. Happy to recommend this for anyone needing a smart, clean place. Has all cooking facilities but we didnt cook. Nice touch to have teabags and coffee sachets but very frustrating not to have any milk sachets. Meant i had to go hunting for a shop for milk. Pillo- do consider adding little lastic pots or sachets like you get in McDonalds. Would save tired travellers a little stress. Other than thta, all positive.

Lovely place

We were visiting family and have to make the trip several times a month. Perfect location only 10 min walk to area we needed. Can’t use it all the time due to cost and the amount of days a month we need.

Really lovely property, clean and modern. Parking was on roadside which was okay but had expected private parking. Contact with Pillo before travel was excellent but unable to speak to anyone during stay which was limited to voicemail with no follow-up. However on my return Pillo were very helpful and apologetic. Would love to stay there again.

Satisfactory experience

Good experience overall, the room is clean and neat. Towels and basic soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided which is a plus. If you are looking for a quick overnight place to stay I would definitely recommend.

Overall a nice apartment and very comfortable beds! The shower needs some improvement .. a very loose, cracked tile and the doors didn’t shut properly. Great communication and easy booking in system.

U are the best

We are a family of 4 and we stayed in this hotel for 6 days. By far, you are the best and most quality Hotel apartment in the Salford area, and your price is very reasonable and good. I hope you maintain this quality. The hotel environment was very clean and quiet, a neighborhood with very cultured and kind people I will stay at your hotel again

Rather British experience

Clean and well equipped room in second floor. Would need small maintenance as heating was partly with movable heater and both faucets were as well toilet seat were loose. Check in was with instructions from internet after you had access time. Keep your cellphone battery enough capacity to get in. WIFI was good. Good public transport connections.

Decent apartment, awful other guests

The apartment was very clean and had ample equipment. Car parking was disappointingly on street but it didn’t have an issues though during the stay. It wasn’t the easiest check in and the communication wasn’t that clear but a phone call sorted it all out. The real disappointment though was that the next door apartment was full of louts who kept being noisy until 3:30am on a Tuesday night. It spoilt the stay for me and I wouldn’t stay there again. There’s no one on site to complain to and so I had to lose valuable sleep time.

Stayed in room 2A. It was OK for 3 nights but i wouldn't want to stay there l longer. Pros: - Clean - Kitchen well equipped so can cook own food - Bedroom and living room big - Close to anchorage tram stop and buses for access to manchester. - Wifi was excellent - Comfortable beds Cons: - Heater is difficult to adjust. Room was either boiling or freezing. - Bathroom was freezing. Floor was even colder. - Shower head was crap and provided poor flow - Hot water stops working after 5 ninutes or so. Very annoying when it happens in the shower. - Bathroom tap has to be wound completely forward and backward to turn water on and off. Very irritating. - With the sofa bed out, the glass table blocks access to the bathroom. We hit our legs on this a few times and it hurt like hell. -TV arial doesnt work. Only youtube app worked on TV. Overall, its OK but unless it was the only cheap room in manchester I probably wouldn't stay again. However if these defects are addressed it would make the place much better and I would stay again.

Was a bit stressful in getting into the building due to problems in communication. It is all on-line checking in and getting keys to the building and room is a multi-step process, Make sure that you have a good coverage for your phone.

Nicely kitted out apartment. Unfortunately, for us the apartment had too much road noise so we only stayed 1 of the 2 nights booked. Parking "Free uncovered self-parking on site", means pot luck on availability on the street.

Not the best start

Our stay was good, however when we arrived at the property a skylight window had been left open and the bedroom was flooded. I did find a mop and bucket and mopped the water up. I contacted pillo rooms who sent a housekeeper out to make sure it was cleaned up.

me and my friends stayed in the pillo rooms and we were highly unsatisfied the room was filthy and boiling hot my friend was really unwell due to her room being so hot and the fan provided was blowing no air at all, would not recommend at all

We tried several times to get in on the keypad, but was unsuccessful. We were let in by someone going out. If they hadn’t have been going out, we would not have got in. When we we got in , we found there were a lot of stairs and we were on the top floor. I am 72 and struggled lifting a large suitcase up all those stairs. My partner is 65 and has arthritis and walks with a stick, she found the stairs a real struggle and was hot and bothered when she got in the room We were unable to go out on Friday night, due to the stairs and also worried that we would not be able to get back into the property. Saturday we had to leave the property as we found the whole experience too stressful.

Tired looking accommodation

Basic and very tired. The light shade hadn’t been dusted in a long time! The bed was ok but not the comfiest. Could definitely benefit from touching up old paintwork and given a good clean. Ok for what we were looking for but wouldn’t book again.

Stayed here before and back there now . My only grips are the heating. It’s like the system at work but seems stuck on 16 so it’s cold and you only get two bath towels regardless of how long you stay, you are expected to wash them and no tea towels even though no dishwasher.

No bedroom doors and unexpected charge

Not really suitable for an aparthotel. The bedrooms have no doors, so staying with friends is not possible. When we messaged them asking where the door was they replied stating that there were no bedroom doors in any photos so we shouldn't expect them, haha. They also make you pay a charge before they give you check-in details, and the T's and C's are very intimidating with extra charges and just items you would'nt expect from booking on hotels.com
