Charming hotel with very friendly staff. Loved the area, close to Old town and many restaurants. Only downside was our particular room was located after 3 different elevators, and far away from the pool and lobby. But overall we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I liked the free breakfast, and the room amenities, such as shampoo, hand soap, and lotion. I also liked the filtered water. Love the location, which is across the street from all the old town shops and restaurants, you have to try the homemade flour tortillas in the plaza, and Rockin Baja restaurant.

The hotel is clean but dated. Staff are very friendly and helpful, The rooms and furniture in the rooms need a face lift - updating. The location is great right in San Diego's old town within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops, as well as historical sites to see.

We really appreciated the gentleman that helped us at check-in. He offered a room upgrade and gave us free parking. We didn't take advantage of amenities, but thought the grounds were very nice. Our room was clean, but felt a bit outdated and dark. We enjoyed the location in Old Town which allowed us to walk to dinner and shopping. Parking is convenient and feels safe.
