Amazing property. It was so beautiful with the courtyard with flowers and the private pool/bath and geat views. They upgraded us with no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The price was great for a three story home away from home.

Great for relax, quiet, fresh air and lovely nature environment. Excellent hospitality, clean room and recreation areas, family enjoyed it

Heaven on earth. The food was phenomenal, the staff felt like family and the atmosphere was out of this world. A family vacation we will never forget.

We enjoyed our stay at the West House boutique Hotel. The location in San Ignacio is close to restaurants. The hotel spotless and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle. There are howler monkeys that make noises throughout much of the night and the roosters will crow whenever they feel like it. The road from the main highway is about one kilometer and is bumpy and rocky. You will dodge goats and sheep as you traverse the dirt road. However, once you get there, Dominic will treat you as an honored...

The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! Their bartender, Gio, knew exactly how to cool us off after a hot day. Lucy always had the most beautiful smile on her face. The owner (can't remember his name) was...

We had an amazing Jungle Vacation at table Rock. The property is beautifully filled with Mango and Orange trees. Toucans and other wild birds can be seen all over the lodge. The staff is extremely friendly and took care of us very well. I would recommend Table Rock to all those seeking a true jungle vacation. The town of San Ignacio is about 15 mins on dirt roads. Use Jasmine shuttle that swings by every 30 mins for $5 per person. Taxi will cost you $25/person.

Great location in the middle of the forest. Service was above and beyond.

I had high expectations from the phenomenal reviews here and Gaia exceeded all of them. It's the perfect place to go if you're looking to unplug, get a little adventure, experience the real Belize, but not "sacrifice" on all the comforts and luxuries you want out of a vacation. "Glamping" comes to mind. The negative reviews on this site are few are far between, but if you're anything like me, have a tendency to perseverate on them. After having spent 5 nights at Gaia, I wanted to address...

We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. But the people here are great and really neat location! Cachal Pech next door is totally worth the trip as well! We came here as a jumping off point for Tikal,...

We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.

We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. We stayed in a garden suite (reserved a cottage but upgraded?) and were most impressed by the comfort and size of the room. The pool was a great welcome home after a hot day out and about. Note: No air...

Incredible all around Good vibes and people

I loved staying at the maya mountain lodge. The problem was being a solo traveler and trying to go on tours. You need at least 2 people so that could be difficult. I would have liked to have done a tour tramsfer when i was leaving but the option was nit available to a solo traveler. Everything else about it was wonderful. The view up the hill was also beautiful !

From the time I booked our stay, the staff here was nothing short of spectacular. They offered tons of helpful information and were extremely helpful in planning offsite excursions in the area. The onsite restaurant offers very reasonably priced Belizean meals that are simple but delicious. The staff and management here pays an extreme level of attention to detail and a maximum effort to ensure that not only fulfilled, but anticipated our every need. I was completely blown away on one...

Just right

The staff was so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our lodging was perfect with so many amenities including blender, toaster, refrigerator, utensils and hot plate. They even had darts and pingpong next to the pool. The food was Delicious and the chefs were so accomodating. We loved every minute of our stay. It was easy to get to Big Rock Falls which was our favorite!

What a great experience this place was. The staff is wonderful, the room is stunning, beauty everywhere you look. Definitely worth the haul up the mountain, and plenty to do once you're up there!

The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!

We stayed at Ka'Ana for our honeymoon and we couldn't have made a better choice. The grounds were so peaceful, our room was superb (included a sunroom with hammock overlooking the pool), and the staff treated us like we were the only people in the world. From the moment we set foot in Ka'Ana we were greeted by our first names and were consistently greeted that way. Our room wasn't quite ready so we were taken up to the beautiful bar for a welcome drink. In about 20 minutes we were told our...
