I had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious, and we ended up eating there several times. The bartenders were awesome—they made great drinks, gave us amazing recommendations for local places to visit, and really made us feel at home. Their suggestions helped make our trip even better. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great overall! The only disappointment was with the spa. We were hoping to end our last two day with massages, but unfortunately the spa didn’t respond until the following day, so we weren’t able to schedule our appointments. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful. The home was beautiful, in a great location, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

We really enjoyed our stay on our last night in Costa Rica. Staff was friendly, on-site restaurant was delicious! Walking distance to a few restaurants and a market. Pool was nice. The property itself is showing its age. Our room had a musty smell, but was very clean otherwise. Airport shuttle was very convenient! Would stay here again.

I had another wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cariari in San José, Costa Rica. This was my second time staying here, and the experience was just as excellent as the first. The staff truly made my stay exceptional. Everyone was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated how accommodating they were for guests with disabilities, making sure accessibility needs were met with genuine care and respect. The level of customer service here is outstanding, and it's clear that the team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for every guest. Because of the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail, I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Costa Rica. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a comfortable stay!

Quick one night stay, needed to be close to SJO and offered free shuttle. We had an early flight we used the 4am free shuttle. It was easy and convenient. I wish we could have use some of the other amenities like pool. The room was super spacious and very clean. 30 minutes from the city. Had several restaurants in area.

Arrived in the dark after delays at the car hire, popped across the road to a Tex Mex restaurant 2 minutes away which was excellent, and left shortly after breakfast to drive to La Fortuna so only the briefest of stays but hotel was clean, friendly, 2 large beds per room with an excellent pool area where breakfast was also served. Perfect for our stopover.

The best part if the property was the beautiful plants and layout out the property. We also, enjoyed having tje restaurant amenities on the property and bar. We stayed 5 nights and we enjoyed everyone of them. The sounds of birds and no mosquitoes . The staff was very helpful. And they even had a casino on the property to try your luck. The room was so spacious and to have 2 sinks was a plus in book. The free shuttle to and from the airport was a bonus. Not to mention various food choices within walking distance. We will be back.!! Great choice if your visiting Costa Rica. Oh, and BTW I would recommend to include the daily breakfast if you stay here. It's a money saver and a great idea. Amazing breakfast items to choose from its buffet style. With omelet a station.
