The staff were super helpful, fun and friendly. The hotel felt clean and like you were in a secluded resort. I am an avid Hilton customer and this hotel didn’t have the feel of a Hilton property. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay especially the staff. The pool swim up bar was the only drawback, there is no one in the bar to help you. You have to get out the pool, walk to the dinning room to order drinks. That can be improved.

Loved the openness of the hotel, the plants, souvenir shop. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was fantastic, clean, and spacious. Only "complaint" was pool could have been warmer and no poolside bartender lol but not a big deal, it is a beautiful pool area. We did get up at 0700 to get in the hottub and it wasn't hot, assumed the hottub was shut off at night. Our room was poolside and we were awakened by a very loud group of guests at the pool about midnight, called the front desk and it was taken care of immediately. I absolutely would stay at the Doubletree in San Jose again and definitely recommend it, especially for the airport shuttle/convenience.
