Our group of seven ladies spent one night at Hotel Pibi Boreal. It was wonderful!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was brought to our rooms, which was a nice. Each room had a patio overlooking the forest. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely, ample eco-friendly rooms in a tranquil setting. Large garden dips down into the forest. The staff (all family) are helpful and kind. Plan on 10-15 minutes on a tight curvy road to get to restaurants but the hotel location is worth it.

Hotel Pibi Boreal was the perfect place to stay after a long flight into San José, Costa Rica. The owners were incredibly friendly and made everything easy from start to finish. One of the biggest conveniences was the transportation and car rental coordination. The hotel arranged our airport pickup, and they partner with a car rental agency that delivered our rental car directly to the hotel on the morning we checked out. At the end of our vacation, we stayed at the hotel again, returned the rental car there, and took the hotel's shuttle to the airport. The entire process was seamless and stress-free. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh fruit and excellent Costa Rican coffee. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and if you prefer a firm mattress, you'll love the beds.
