"Definitely overpriced for the condition of the rooms. Our room had marks and stains on the walls and floors. (Many of which I was able to clean with disinfectant wipes so basic hotel cleaning is lacking.) The bathroom has mildew in the shower and multiple cockroaches were found in the room during our stay. It smelled horrible but we coped with a strong candle and room spray. Breakfast staff was lacking as both coffee machines were down and she was unaware because she was in the back area on her phone. Positives- breakfast area was well stocked with grab and go items, which we appreciate when staying in Jacksonville for medical appointments. Staff was receptive and friendly."

"We recently stayed at the Margaritaville Hotel in Jacksonville Beach for a one-night stop, and overall the experience was underwhelming for the price point and branding. The positives first: the valet staff were genuinely kind and helpful, especially accommodating my son’s disability with complimentary valet service. The room decor was cute and had the fun beachy vibe you’d expect. Unfortunately, things started off rough when we were accidentally assigned to an occupied room. After going upstairs with luggage, the key wouldn’t work and there were clearly guests inside. To the hotel’s credit, the manager apologized and offered a $50 food & beverage credit. Still, there were a lot of small details that added up: * Balcony initially had no chairs * Weak shower/water pressure * Bathroom fixtures looked stylish but barely functioned * Room felt humid despite the AC * Sparse coffee setup in the morning The food was okay, but the “signature” margarita was disappointing — overly sweet and served in a small disposable plastic cup, which felt odd for a $14 resort drink. One thing worth noting: this is apparently an independently owned Margaritaville property, so loyalty benefits were not honored when booking through Expedia, unlike many major hotel brands. Nothing was terrible, but overall it just didn’t feel polished or elevated the way I expected from a Margaritaville property."

"I only stayed for a quick overnight, but the staff was very friendly and kind, and my room was clean and comfortable. Some stuff in the building is a little old, but the maintenance team is clearly working hard to keep everything running well. It's not clearly marked, but there is parking behind the building, so you're not stuck if you don't see any available spots out front!"
