It’s a beautiful setting with banana trees on a fairly large setting in a remote area. Very basic and rugged accommodations but charming. A full size pool is ideal for relaxing while enjoying the breeze on a hamaca.

The staff was excellent but I wish we had been made aware that there was no hot water, that the laundry facilities are only available in the early morning, and that the AC unit didn’t work very well. Otherwise it’s a beautiful property within walking distance of the beach and the staff was very kind and helpful.

We just stayed 10 nights in this hotel and it was great. The staff was very friendly and accomodating regardless of the language barrier. It was quiet..well kept..and i felt no issues with security at all. the pool was basically always clean given thatvthe wind is always blowing and leaves do blow in regularly. I did take the time to clean out leaves as needed but that just kept me busy..lol. I would on one hand make a couole small recommendations however. Perhaps the owners should consider installing fridges in the rooms and a coffe maker. I like to be up early in he mornings to watch the sun come up and listen to the birds so a coffe maker would be great instead of having to wait until 7:30 am. The breakfast was good and just enough to get the day started. people will always find a reason to complain about something but i would return again. The recommendations i stated are not complaints but i believe those 2 items would really be beneficial to the hotel. Regards, Dean from Canada.

Extremely disappointed in this Property to the point that we were unable to stay. Checked in, went to the room, found Two beds, no tables or chairs or rugs, no hot water, concrete floor, AC shaky at best, one towel, I could go on but instead went and checked out. Property refused to give a refund, even though it was clearly not as advertised. Very disappointed.

Quiet resort like hotel on the outskirts

We stayed in a budget room at El Pacifico, this means no hot water and no A/C. You don't need hot water as it's so hot outside but my husband struggled with the no A/C. Keep this in mind when booking your room. The hotel had a resort feeling with a bar and a pool. The staff are voulenteers on a work away program and very knowledgable and friendly. The location of the hotel is about 15 min from town. You walk along the beach while is both beautiful and peaceful. The only drawback was that it got dark early when we were there (November) and we didn't want to walk homeboy in the dark so often we weren't able to enjoy supper as there's is no food at the hotel. You can also take a cab back to the hotel if your budget allows. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the hotel.

The property was all a lie.you can see the downstairs through the plywood floor. The room only had 1 electric outlet and it was coming out of the wall. The chair in the room was broken and the cushion shredded. The dresser was broken. The lights in the bathroom and the bedroom had open electric wires. This property was unsafe. I could not stay more than one night. I have not recieved a refund!!!!!

The room was higher than we paid elsewhere and very average. It was an extra $50 per night just for A/C. I assume it is because of the location. There were ants all over the walls and the shower was so weak it wouldn’t rinse the shampoo out of our hair. It is a bit of a walk along the beach to get to the main town, so I suggest having a vehicle if staying at this location. Overall the stay was ok, but definitely overpriced for the amenities.

Mein Zimmer mit Queenzize Bett war nicht fertig also habe ich ein Zimmer mit Hochbetten bekommen. Das Zimmer war nicht gerade sauber. An den Wänden hingen überall Tiere oder Larven. Ich hatte zwei Übernachtungen und mein Zimmer wurde leider nicht gereinigt. Das Frühstück war lecker und man hatte eine Auswahl. Schlimm fand ich dass es in der Unterkunft nur Cola als kaltes Getränk gab noch einmal Wasser ohne Kohlensäure. Das Hotel ist viel zu teuer für so einen schlechten Standard.
