Room and facilities were great. Large shower, good size room and great air conditioning. Continental breakfast options were diverse. Communication to get the access codes was not good. They did not provide the codes in advance so we could not get into our room. Other very kind guests helped us to contact the company. Once we had the right phone number the customer service was very good. We suggest providing the local contact phone number OUTSIDE so that people can call if there are issues.

the owner is very nice and helpful but i still still kinda miserable staying here. the location and room itself is very nice despite there being no elevators. i def enjoyed it being gated but it took use a bit to get use to the lock to get inside our room. youll have to pull the door towards you, put in the access code THEN itll unlock otherwise youll be stuck waiting outside. i really enjoyed how we were given beach towels too that was very nice and the fridge and microwave. the cons is we had no wifi the entire weekened we were there and by the second day, no hot water and the rest of the weekend the water pressure was extremely weird so there will be normal water running then it'll spurt out in short increments so showering and washing my hair and the dishes became super difficult. then our ac stopped working so we had to move rooms. it had so much potential but we probably wont stay here again unfortunately as we didnt get to use most of our amenities.

The floor was dirty. We could hear everything happening on the street. The mattress was not very good—you could really feel the springs. However, it was very cozy and beautiful. The breakfast really lacked variety, apart from Pop-Tarts and granola bars.

Starting off with the location. It was close to the airport & close to all San Juan beaches that I wanted to explore close to all the excursions I wanted to explore! Driving up Tapia haus is so cute exactly how it is in pictures. Very clean & surprisingly my room was small but perfect had kitchen refrigerator smelled great very clean. Staff was very nice & free breakfast was a plus.

Nice find in an up and coming neighborhood. The shower was on the cold side… loved the separate room for a kitchen.

Room was good but no hot water

The place was clean and had all necessary amenities; however, it did not have hot water or a good water pressure. I called the hotel to let them know and their response was that there was work being done outside by the town which was impacting water pressure therefore their water heater was not working (our room was on the second floor). We did not see any visible work being done outside, so not sure whether that was a true statement or not. We stayed for 5 days and did not have hot water during our stay.

Nice place, clean, comfortable, and centric. The only problem is the parking. The property doesn’t have parking, therefore you have to park on the street. Finding parking is a problem, specially on the weekends.

Loved the location - and I never try to leave bad reviews; however the floors hide dirt really well and were rarely mopped - our socks and feet were filthy. There was a sign in the room that breakfast was served from 8-9am, but we never saw anyone to be able to order it. There was never any staff there early in the mornings. Most importantly, the room had BEDBUGS. They devoured me, I spoke to and sent pictures to the manager and she didn't seem concerned at all. No offer of making it right - NOTHING. Don't stay here. Location isn't everything.

Muy bueno el hospedaje en tapia haus 103 lo pase super bien el area tranquilo. Una recomendacion en el area del baño tiene que poner algo para tener privacidad por que con un cristal sin poder tapar con una cortina lo que estan caminando o el vecino nos puede mirar es lo unico que encontre un poco sin privacidad. Pero de lo demas lo recomiendo a todos muy limpio muy acogedor y cerca de todo.

Great hotel in the middle of great nightlife!

Anthony was extremely friendly! The hotel is in what looks like a rough neighborhood but we had no issue at all walking around, even at night. There's a great food truck parked right across the street and Plenty of bars with lots of friendly people hanging out in and outside very close to the hotel. Very close to the beach and a short Uber to Old San Juan.

We had a beautiful room! Did not have a city view like the description said and no couch like in the picture, but the owner was amazing and so nice and sweet! Overall had a fantastic time there and would love to come again!

Tapia Haus 103 is EVERYTHING. I wanted the Full experience living around the local Puerto Rican’s and Tapia Haus gave me that. This is gem and it’s centrally located to walk to the beach, night life, and great food places. Anthony and Hunter deliver two different experiences while both are very pleasant and honest. I cannot wait to go back again!!! Thanks Tapia Haus 103 for a wonderful experience!!!
