“The room was implacable and all staff have been extremely friendly, polite and very attentive. The food was varied and very nice every day. Good list of cocktails and the bar staff would also happily give you something that is not on the list or make all the twists you asked for, and they would remember you even though the resort was very busy. Didn’t use the parking so cannot comment on that. We had a perfect 8 night stay and would very happily return to the resort. ”

Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep. “I was pleasantly surprised, the photos online were pretty but once we got there the views were breathtaking. We took so many pictures of the volcano and the lake but still could not capture the beauty this location offers. The rooms and property were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. My favorite part was coming back to our room to find a new animal crafted with towels everyday, we were there for 8 days, I thought they'd run out of ways to fold the towels but they didn't. “Excellent choise quite far from “downtown” but super close to the reserve and in the hotel you can spot flora and fauna as well as the reserve ”

“This place is huge and beautiful. I don’t think the pictures on the website give enough impression to show people how gorgeous this place is. Few minor maintenance repairs to be done but it looks like they renovating now. It didn’t affect our stay. Located only few minutes away from la Fortuna waterfalls. We were given free entrance tickets to Hanging bridges park for the whole family and breakfast at the restaurant that located few minutes away. Very good experience, would definitely be back if...

“Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather.”
