"Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed at! From the amazing staff to the little oasis of a hotel you will definitely not regret staying here! The reviews about the cleanliness is spot on it truly is that clean. The breakfast was phenomenal which was included in our stay! Don’t worry about the walk to the beach it truly isn’t bad at all and I found it to be a great way to see the town everyday! The staff at the hotel were not just nice but super helpful and give you local spots to you to check out. So sad to be leaving all of the staff they truly made the trip better than I could have imagined! "

"We loved our stay at Lagarta Lodge! Yes, the road uphill i dusty and bumpy. But well worth it. One of the best eco-lodges we have ever stayed at. ...The scenic location overlooking the confluence of Rio Nosara and the ocean fosters an impressive array of birds, monkeys, coati and other wildlife. ... Just as impressive is the cleanliness of the entire grounds, featuring 3 lovely pools, a jacuzzi, a yoga/health spa and a fine restaurant ... The staff is awesome! Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They arrange shuttle service to local beach towns as well. During our week there, some became our friends! ... One caution - we felt the bedding could be improved -- firmer mattress, softer pillows. Otherwise, everything was Pura Vida!"

"This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served around the pool area each morning. A very relaxing, accomodating place, I will definitely stay at again when visiting that area "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Cala Lina. From the correspondance before our arrival to book add-on activities, to the arrival experience, to the daily check-ins and check-out, we experienced the best customer service. Nicole was fantastic in ensuring everything was good with our stay. The rocky beach was fun for the kids to experience the tidal pools. And a short golf cart trip away took us to town and the sandy beaches of Tamarindo. We had a lovely time here. "
