"Excellent first impression - the hotel is stunning, in the heart of Cordoba, and the staff are extremely professional, polite, and helpful. The rooms are also fantastic with plenty of storage and amenities, including some disposable bathroom items (razor, shaving gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, and more). Amazing shower. We were also provided a kettle and a decent variety of tea on request. The pool is small but well-maintained. There's plenty of lounge space and a small "working area" with a selection of books for casual reading. There are two bars including a delightful rooftop bar. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The main problem is the thin walls. Our room overlooked the plaza outside and even from the second floor we could very clearly hear the conversation of the patrons sitting at the bar below late at night. When we raised the issue we were swiftly moved to a quieter room, although we still heard noise from other rooms, and the music that played in the corridors outside - a most unwelcome feature, but at least the music only played in the late morning/afternoon. Besides that, both rooms we stayed in had some maintenance issues: non-functional air conditioning, a loose "panel" on the shower floor, a loose toilet seat, a bathroom door that wouldn't close properly. These issues were fixed swiftly and professionally but it's disappointing they were there to begin with. Almost a perfect hotel experience but the noise from outdoors is a significant problem."

"Great hotel in a perfect location. Walkable from the train station and a 15min stroll through the Old Town to the Cathedral. Excellent staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Solo, female traveller - felt very safe and comfortable. Would stay again and would recommend."

AC Hotel Córdoba by Marriott

"This was a little oasis for us. We got to cordoba during a heatwave and the hotel we had reserved near the downtown cathedral was ineffective in keeping us cool. We pivoted at 3pm and booked the AC hotel. It was immaculately clean. The shower was the best I’ve had in Europe during our vacation. It’s almost directly across from the train station. It has a bar and breakfast (not included in our booking). Check in was painless, and we all (family of 4, two rooms with double twin beds) slept so comfortably that we slept through the alarm and nearly missed our train. It’s not in the ancient center, which is the only downside! Taxi cost just 8 euros to get there from the downtown."
