I like that it was affordable and the staff was very friendly and easy to work with. The parking was very easy. The location was perfect for shopping and close to cedar point. The only thing I think could use fixing would be the cleanliness, it's a little outdated but other than that it's an okay hotel.

We booked a room at the very last minute and it was well worth the $80. Yes it’s an old hotel but it was clean, service was friendly and we were happy with our stay.

The manager at the desk was friendly and helpful. For the price it was really good, especially with the Keycash. It was clean enough and everything worked ok. Would probably stay there again.

Renovation in progress, friendly staff, short drive to Cedar Point Sports Center avoiding railroad crossing. There was no fridge in the room, but staff brought one for us. Kids enjoyed large outdoor pool.

As others have noted, this was recently purchased by a new owner who has experience in the hotel industry. Super friendly and accommodating. Our stay was what we wanted - close to the park and affordable. The beds were clean, the TV and fridge worked great. There was coffee and donuts in the lobby. We were 5 mins from the park. Highly recommend Zuppaman for a meal, which is 1 minute away. Good stay!

The roon was clean for the most part. We cpuldnt open the door to the bathroom all the way becauze it hit the toilet. Also, the door locking mechanism was broke and the door had to be forced open and shut. Otherwise amazing!

My boyfriend and I decided to go on an impromptu trip to Cedar Point, and wanted a cheap place to stay. Avalon Inn is really good for the price and was just what we needed. It's only a couple miles from the park, which is really nice as well. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cheap place to stay while visiting Cedar Point.

This place was perfect for the price we paid. The staff was incredibly friendly. The place needs some upgrades as it is very dated, but it was clean enough and you can tell the staff try their best to keep it looking great. It has a beautiful courtyard and a decent looking pool. If this place gets some updates and renovations, it will easily be a top tier hotel.

Avalon Inn is perfect if all you're needing is a clean place to sleep. It's not the prettiest place. A little rough around the edges. But the bed is comfy and clean and the rooms are cheaper than anything else in the area.
