The location was excellent, especially for somewhere just for spending the night. Room was very clean. The area around may feel slightly unsafe at night if alone but other than that, I would definitely stay again!

This is the perfect cheap hotel if you’re looking for a very basic overnight stay, or a basic stay in general in a CLEAN room. Check-in was perfect, got the room number and door code ahead of time so when we arrived we just walked into the room and that was it. Most cheap motels are dirty or scary and still charge nearly $100 because they have a coffee maker in the room. This place is much less expensive and very well-kept, doesn’t have a coffee maker or desk but had two night stands and a mini fridge, what else could you need from this price point? Thank you for offering this kind of motel for travelers looking for a bargain but not wanting to compromise on cleanliness and safety in exchange!

Great little place!

Room was clean,spacious enough,secure. It had all the basics you need. Good value for the money. It was clean,and smelled nice! Easy to control room temperature! Literally 3 minutes from our planned venue, the Cedar Point Sports Complex. Everything worked out perfect for us! Will stay again when travelling to Cedar Point,only minutes away!

Really enjoyed this property since newer ownership took over. Previously, the property was not tin the best shape. the new owners have done work to get it feeling clean, feeling safe and comfortable. My room was clean, the heat worked and the bed was comfortable. The only down fall was the tile floor in the bathroom in the winter..brrr that was cold on my feet!

Hotel Stay

The place was nice but far from being fancy. There was no housekeeping so if you needed anything you had to contact the owner. The shower bathtub had no anti slip pads or no hand rails which is very dangerous especially when you're traveling alone if you fal the tub you are screwed. The toilet was very low to the ground which isn't good for someone that is tall or experiencing back problems. But it located about two miles from Cedar Point if that is why you are in Sandusky Ohio and in a very safe location. The lady owner was very nice and helpful and you can't beat the nightly rate. Again it's far from Paradise but for myself it works.

Simple but Clean!

This is our second stay here and like the first, it was lovely. Definitely no huge frills, but we don't need them! Everything was clean, staff is always friendly, and the location was great. We'll be back, definitely!

The management/staff went above and beyond to get me into a room early. Its an older property but very clean and quiet, room was nice, very affordable, with nice toiletries and a microwave and mini-fridge. I've stayed in much more luxurious hotels but never one with a more attentive and accomodating staff, I can't express how nice this had made my trip!

Our stay was good. As other reviews state, the staff is very welcoming and the rooms are clean (which were our biggest draws). It’s also located closer to Cedar Point than I originally imagined, especially with the affordability, which was an extra win. Some people mention the train being near. We could hear it from our room, but it wasn’t loud enough to be any kind of disturbance. We’re hoping to book here again upon our next visit.

Very small, good for resting!

Room was very small compared to like-priced rooms at other places; our shower was strictly just a shower, i would say anyone above 5'7" would find it difficult to shower comfortably, anyone of a larger size will feel cramped. We has mysterious brown stains on the ceiling, however, we were there to sleep for the night and hit the road the next morning so its good enough for what you need. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgeable.

At first I was a little a worried about the area when I came in but when we stayed the first night it was so quiet. To see the staff tag team in cleaning the rooms was amazing. I don’t really see that in nice hotels we stayed in. The only thing I wish was the shower to be a little bigger but the location was prefect for Me. 5mins away from cedar point and 3 mins for the soccer tournament.

Staff was great BUT I wasn’t able to check into my room until almost 7:00. We got to the hotel earlier but never received a email letting me know which room we was in or the combination to the door. I actually had to call the number and spoke to a very nice lady that told me our room was still not ready for us. She said they still had to put new linens on the beds. We got to unpack our stuff around 7:00pm. That’s 4 hours after the 3:00 check in we was told when we booked the room. No mention of changing the room since ours wasn’t ready so we could get in earlier. No mention of any type of compensation what so ever for not having the room ready. Other than that we was happy with our stay.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, fair pricing, pool on site, and you can park right next to your room. These are just a few of the reasons that I enjoy staying here. Check out time is a bit earlier than I am used to (10am) but the pool opened at 9 so my son got to swim for a hour before leaving. I usually stay here when visiting cedar point so it has everything I need for a comfortable night stay to rest up for the ride home. The only thing that could have been better is that there was a really bad rain storm the night before and water got into my room and soaked one of my bags that was left on the floor, other than that everything was great.

The staff was friendly. The pool and the area surrounding it was clean. Except for the train, no loud noises. The coffee was good! and the even had creamers! Please be aware it is a no thrills hotel. Very basic but clean. Please bring food with you b/c restaurants not close and they do not provide comp breakfast nor vending machines. Will definitely recommend and return to this place.

We planned a last minute trip to Cedar Point for the holiday and wanted to stay a couple nights so we didn’t have to drive back and forth from home. Being that is was so last minute anything available was crazy expensive and those that weren’t as bad had terrible reviews. Quality lodge popped up and the price was too good to pass up and it had good reviews so we went for it. This is not a regular hotel, it is a locally owned small motel with a pool. It was clean and the location was very close to Cedar Point. If you are looking for a place to sleep after a day at the park, it is perfect for that. It is an older place, so expect to see outdated furniture and such. But shower pressure in the bathroom was great and beds were comfy. I liked that you are given a code to get into your room. And the staff there is really great. If you need a no frills, clean and comfortable place to sleep after a day at the beach or at Cedar Point it is perfect for that.

Nice place to Stay

Had a very nice room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had been on a trip to Cedar Point and originally i had informed them that we would b a late check in, however, we got rained out from a bad storm so ended up arriving earliee than expected. The staff was amazing, even though we arrived before we said we would our room was ready. Check in and out was quick and easy. I was very pleased with how nice the staff was. Due to the rain we had an issue with our room leaking a little bit as the parking lot was flooding. We immediately let the office know to see what we should do. They were super nice and offered us a new room but we were still happy with our original room. The pool looked very nice, although did not have time for a swim. Our room was very quiet and very clean. Had no problems sleeping. Convenient location for restaurants and stores. Very pleased with our stay and will definitely revisit again.
