“Great place to stay while in Nikko, its a bit away from the main part of the city- around 15min walk uphill, but the place is trully amazing and the thermal bath and sauna is cherry on top.”

“My family enjoyed our stay in the large, comfortable, extremely tidy and well fit-out property. Although on our arrival it was hard to walk to (with suitcases) from Tobu-Nikko, and very few buses. Access was much easier when we hired a car. Close to small convenience store and short drive to grocery store. Best was the artificial hot spring bath. Thank you for hosting this lovely property.”

“Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature.
