"LK Design is right in the heart of the downtown area. It's an easy walk to many great restaurants and a shopping mall. The hotel itself is luxurious. The beds were very comfortable. The view was great. We very much enjoyed spending time at the rooftop bar drinking caipirinhas. The breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot items and cold meats, cheeses, fruit and pasteries. Many members of the staff speak some English, so we did not have any language problems."

I am fluent in Portuguese, but they had staff who could speak English and Spanish as well. Dinner was very good. The flavors of food are muted compared to what we are used to, but the ingredients are 1st class. We had filet mignon with carrots and parsnips. (Advertised and manioc root.
